The Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) Entrepreneur Stream offers experienced business owners or senior managers a pathway to start or purchase a business in Nova Scotia, leading to permanent residency after one year of active management.
Program Requirements
Personal Requirements
- 1Aged 21 or older
- 2Minimum personal net worth of CAD $600,000
- 33+ years of business ownership (33% minimum) or 5+ years in senior management
- 4Language proficiency (CLB 5 in English or French)
Business Requirements
- 1Invest at least CAD $150,000 in a Nova Scotia business
- 2Actively manage the business daily in Nova Scotia
- 3Intend to live permanently in Nova Scotia

Submit EOI with business and personal details

Invitation to Apply
Receive ITA based on EOI score (e.g., 110-118 in 2019 draws)

Business Establishment
Start or purchase a business in Nova Scotia

Operate Business
Actively manage the business for at least one year

Receive nomination for permanent residency
