Program Requirements
Personal Requirements
- 1Aged 21-59 at time of application
- 2Minimum personal net worth of CAD $600,000
- 3Minimum secondary school education
- 4Business ownership or management experience
- 5Language proficiency (CLB/NCLC 4 or higher)
Business Requirements
- 1Actively manage a PEI-based business daily
- 2Sign a Performance Agreement with the Office of Immigration
- 3Intend to live and work in PEI
Application Process
Expression of Interest
Create and submit EOI profile with business and personal details
Invitation to Apply
Receive ITA based on EOI points grid
Application Submission
Submit application with forms, documents, and $10,000 fee
Interview
Attend interview with Office of Immigration staff
Work Permit
Receive letter of support for work permit application to IRCC
Business Establishment
Move to PEI, start business, and meet Performance Agreement terms
Nomination
Receive nomination for permanent residency
Application Fee: $10,000 CAD, partially refundable if declined or withdrawn before interview
